2018 Toyota Sienna

If you live or work near Amherst, Manchester, or Derry and drive a Toyota Sienna, Ira Toyota of Manchester has drawn up this maintenance schedule to help you make sure your minivan gets the right attention at the right time. Follow along below to find out when to bring it in for its routine service visits and which procedures and checks get performed each time.

5,000 Miles

Tire Service

At 5,000 miles, your Sienna will undergo the following checks and procedures:

  • Driver's side floor mat for safe installment
  • All fluid levels will be inspected and refilled accordingly
  • Wiper blades will be tested
  • The tires will be rotated
  • The brakes will be inspected visually

10,000 Miles

When you've made it to 10,000 miles, your minivan will receive an oil change along with everything that was done during the 5,000-mile visit.

15,000 Miles

Once your Toyota Sienna reaches 15,000 miles, it'll receive a more exhaustive inspection, which includes the following:

  • Ball joints and dust covers
  • Brake lines and hoses
  • Drive shaft boots
  • Cabin air filter
  • Engine coolant

20,000 Miles

Oil

At this point, your Toyota Sienna will be ready for an oil change, the replacement of the oil filter, and another tire rotation. The brakes, wiper blades, and fluids will also need to be inspected.

25,000 Miles

The usual 5,000-mile inspections and tasks are performed at this time.

30,000 Miles

When you get to the 30,000-mile mark, your Sienna will receive its most comprehensive inspection yet. First, it'll get the standard 5,000-mile treatment and, if it's Four-Wheel Drive, the drive and propeller shaft bolt will be re-torqued. Then, the oil, oil filter, cabin air filter, and engine air filter will all be changed. Finally, the following will all be checked out:

  • Automatic transmission for signs of leakage
  • Ball joints and dust covers
  • Brake components, lines, and hoses
  • Drive shaft boots
  • Engine coolant
  • Exhaust pipes and mountings
  • Fuel lines and connections
  • Fuel tank band
  • Fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
  • Fuel tank cap gasket
  • Radiator and condenser

35,000 Miles

This is a standard maintenance appointment that includes these checks and tasks:

  • All fluids are checked
  • Wiper blades are tested and examined for cracks and other signs of aging
  • The tires are rotated
  • The brakes are inspected

40,000 Miles

Here's another standard visit. This time, the oil and oil filter will be changed as well.

45,000 Miles

Vehicle Inspection

This is what you can expect to be checked at 45,000 miles:

  • Ball joints and dust covers
  • Brake lines and hoses
  • Drive shaft boots
  • Engine coolant
  • Exhaust pipes and mountings
  • Radiator and condenser
  • Steering gear
  • Steering linkage and boots

If your minivan is Four-Wheel Drive, 45,000 miles is also when the rear differential oil and transfer case oil are to be changed again.

50,000 Miles

When you take your Toyota Sienna in for its 50,000-mile maintenance appointment, the oil will be changed, the tires will be rotated, and the oil filter will be replaced. Additionally, all fluids will be checked and refilled as necessary and the brakes will also be checked.
